Muscline Ganda
Muscline Ganda is a biotechnology professional and data and artificial intelligence specialist who serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Desmerm Data Consultancy. With experience in applying data science to real-world challenges, Muscline leads the company in delivering analytics and AI-driven solutions that support evidence-based decisions across social, economic, and environmental sectors.
Muscline holds a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology and a Master of Science in Big Data Analytics, graduating with distinction. This qualification strengthened her expertise in machine learning, data integration, statistical analysis, data visualization, and predictive modeling. Muscline is proficient in SQL and MySQL for database management, R and Python for data analysis, and STATA and SPSS for statistical modeling. In addition, Muscline applies machine learning techniques for predictive analytics and uses Power BI and Tableau to present insights clearly to stakeholders.
Muscline's impact and leadership have been recognized through awards including Most Promising Data Analyst (Government Institutions Sector) - 2024. Muscline was also awarded Data Champion for the One Health Data Analytics Capacity Development Program, an initiative by the One Health Data Alliance Africa (OHDAA), commissioned by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). She has gone through several trainings including a course on mathematical modeling of vaccine-preventable diseases with the Center for Epidemiological Modelling and Analysis (CEMA) in Nairobi, Kenya, and participation in Outbreak Analytics with R, hosted by MRCG at LSHTM in Banjul Gambia. Muscline also developed additional capabilities through participation in the AMAX summer school in Cameroon, sponsored by the Melinda and Bill Gates Foundation, enhancing skills in R and Python and improving presentation of data-driven insights for policy makers. Muscline continues to drive Desmerm Data Consultancy toward impactful, responsible, and scalable data solutions.
Fred Mokgohloa
Fred Mokgohloa is a Data Scientist focused on helping organisations turn raw data into meaningful insights and practical solutions. His work involves analysing complex datasets, identifying patterns, and presenting clear findings that support better decision-making. With experience in data analysis, machine learning, dashboards, and AI-driven systems, Fred focuses on creating solutions that are both intelligent and useful. He uses data not only to understand what has happened, but also to predict trends, reduce risks, and improve future planning. His approach combines technical skills with business understanding to ensure that every solution addresses real organisational needs. From building predictive models to designing interactive dashboards, Fred’s goal is to make information easier to understand and act on. His work supports organisations in areas such as performance tracking, forecasting, automation, reporting, and strategic decision-making. He gives strong attention to accuracy, clarity, and practical impact, ensuring that data solutions are reliable and easy to use. By applying modern data science methods, AI tools, and analytical thinking, Fred helps transform complex information into simple, actionable results. His overall mission is to use data and technology to solve real-world problems and help organisations make smarter, evidence-based decisions.
Desmond Madzenenga
Desmond Madzenenga is a dedicated and self-motivated legal practitioner with strong expertise in defense-related legal practice, conveyancing, contract drafting, and deceased estate administration. He is registered as a Legal Practitioner of the High Court of Zimbabwe and has built a reputation for delivering high-quality legal representation with strict adherence to integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Desmond's academic background includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of South Africa (2018), along with professional training in security management. As Legal Head at Desmerm Data Consultancy, Desmond is committed to strengthening the company's legal compliance, ensuring robust contract and policy frameworks, supporting risk management, and enabling smooth operations across advisory, administrative, and consultancy services. His leadership approach is anchored in legal accuracy, proactive problem-solving, and a continuous drive to evolve with advancements in both the legal field and modern working environments.
Hanna Brima
Hanna Brima is a skilled Data Scientist at Desmerm Data Consultancy with 6+ years of experience as an IT Officer and Data Analyst at Statistics Sierra Leone. Hanna is passionate about turning complex datasets into useful insights by combining strong technical capability with analytical thinking and a focus on data quality. Over the years, Hanna has contributed to several projects across diverse domains, including socio-economic data, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data, and One Health data, building strong experience in handling data from collection through analysis, validation, and reporting to support evidence-based planning and decision-making. Hanna holds both a BSc in Computer Science and an MSc in Information Systems from Njala University, and this solid academic foundation, together with continuous professional development, strengthens the ability to build reliable and well-structured data solutions. Hanna has also completed specialized trainings, including Geographic Information Systems for 2026 Cartographic Mapping, the Sierra Integrated Household Survey, and the One Health Data Analytics Capability Development Program, with practical training in Stata, Power BI, CSPro, and Survey CTO. At Desmerm Data Consultancy, Hanna supports the company's mission by helping clients leverage accurate and well-managed data for meaningful impact through clean data processing, advanced analysis, and clear reporting that enables informed decisions.
Carmel Nkeshimana
Carmel Nkeshimana is a Software Design and Development Engineer at Desmerm Data Consultancy, where he focuses on building reliable, scalable software solutions that support data-driven businesses. Carmel graduated from Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) in Embedded and Mobile Systems and currently works as an Assistant Lecturer at Mwenge Catholic University in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. With a Master's degree in Mobile Systems from NM-AIST, he brings a strong software engineering foundation and a deep understanding of system design and development. He has solid programming expertise in C, C++, PHP, and Python, and practical experience in mobile development, alongside strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms. Carmel has also contributed to the development of ERP systems, and his technical background includes software design and development skills such as designing application components, implementing robust backend and web services, and supporting maintainable system architecture. In previous roles, he gained valuable experience in network management, DevOps practices, and hosting applications on Ubuntu servers, and he has worked with technologies including ReactJS and Django. He previously worked as an intern at the Inter-University Council for East Africa, applying his skills to real technical tasks while strengthening his professional approach to engineering. Carmel is also proficient in French and English, and he is committed to continuous learning, collaboration, and delivering practical solutions that solve real-world problems through thoughtful design, clean development, and dependable implementation.
Anne Freitas
Anne Freitas is a Chevening Scholar currently pursuing an MSc in Model-Based Drug Development at the University of Manchester. She has a strong foundation in data science, with experience gained through multiple academic paper presentations and participation in professional fellowships.
Her expertise lies at the intersection of pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modelling, and machine learning, where she is actively exploring how computational approaches can enhance drug development and translational medicine.
Anne's academic and professional journey reflects a growing interest in applying quantitative methods to solve complex problems in pharmacology and clinical research. She is particularly focused on integrating data-driven modelling approaches to improve decision-making in drug development pipelines.
Her current goal is to expand her experience in translational research, with the long-term aim of contributing to innovative, data-driven approaches in pharmaceutical sciences and drug development.
